Libya

Airpower and nothing on the ground - oops
No clear objective, no clear mission stated; an emotional response hoping that things would sort themselves out but without putting in place the plan and resources to make sure it happens. You have to worry about the intelligence estimates, and the judgment of our leaders.

His drunken comments were so ludicrous, such a crass and egregious abomination, that it defies belief that anyone outside the camps of the most extreme, ridiculous, right wing political parties could contemplate such words and thoughts.

What’s with the paragons of journalistic independence? Today Christina Patterson in the Independent, and Max Hastings in his tabloid of choice, The Mail, are slashing at the Assange throat.
